IRENE-GWEN CHOW

Hi y’all! My name is Irene-Gwen Chow. I am a mother of an awesome and energetic 8yr old boy. Sometimes I wonder
which part of scrapbooking I enjoy more … the scrapping or the scrappy shopping! Seriously, what is not to love about
this wonderful hobby! I usually spend more time scrapping the everyday moments rather than big events or special occasions in my life. I enjoy being able to just scrap a page here and there and … as and when. It really helps keep scrapping fun and stress-free for me if I don’t feel the pressure to finish an entire album or a deadline to meet.

I don’t feel I have a particular style in scrapbooking. I usually let the pictures or projects determine what style I use. I had the opportunity to work with other great designers and conducted classes at Made With Love. I was a guest designer for Inspired Blueprints and Moments Recorded. A featured artist for Scrap n’ Art. And some of my layouts were used at Ape Communications as marketing pieces elaborating various ideas of exclusivity on scrapbooking. I am totally thrilled to be part of Scraplicious Design Team and I look forward to sharing my passion with you all!

LEENA LOH

I was struck by the scrapping bug exactly 4 years ago when I chanced upon a local scrapbooking store during a shopping trip. It started as what I thought was a passing fad but I got hooked onto it until this very day. I think it’s all the wonderful scrapbooking products that attracted me most and how I love to spend hours looking, touching and playing with the products. I feel a sense of contentment just doing that. I love playing with paints and mist and I always make an effort to include them in my projects.

Besides these 2 products, I cannot live without stickers, be it alphabets, tags, chipboards and all sorts of stickers. I’m also a big fan of flowers and jewels. I am currently on board the Design Team for Prima Marketing, Hambly Screenprints, {entreARTistes} Magazine, Angie Delarie Designs and I’m so proud and honored to be joining Scraplicious team! I can say I am truly blessed to be given the opportunity to design and grow with Scraplicious. When I’m not scrapping, I spend time in my photography. I spent the last 15 years perfecting my photography skill and knowledge (still working on it!) and I’m glad to be able to scrap those photos into something worth remembering. Lastly, I’m a fulltime working mommy to my wonderful 7-year-old boy, Ethan and best friend to my hubby, Rainer of 15 years. I’m also the proud owner of 2 Jack Russell Terriers, Belle and Piggie, who are very much part of the family.

LOUISA-MAY KHOO

HELLO!!! I’m soo happy to be part of this team!! An urban planner by training, I have since forsaken the corporate route to dabble in writing, research, teaching, and mummy-hood. Scrapbooking is a natural outlet for me to journal, write and tell stories in a fun creative way since I get to gawk and BUY all sorts of pretty stuff and put them to ‘GOOD’ use in the record of memories too precious to pass by. I started scrapbooking in 2005 and haven’t looked back since. I love the process of piecing bits together and watching something beautiful unfold. I think I’m still morphing in my scrapbook style and am a mish-mash of clean lines, clusters of cut-outs, bellies and layers with a somewhat fun vintage-gy feel. I totally overuse exclamation marks in my communication and dread ironing. I’ve recently returned from a two year stint in the USA where I’ve had such a great time home-schooling my kids, travelling and SHOPPING. I have also caused quite a few of the women around me to become hooked on scrapbooking much to the initial dismay of their husbands, but who are now slowly being bought over by how meaningful a hobby this is! Yay too, to being part of the Scraplicious family so I have another avenue to get more people addicted to this wonderful hobby!

RACHEL LIM

I’m Rachel – wife to a loving and supportive husband and mother to two little rascals (currently aged 4.5 years old and 20 months).

I was in the chemical industry before I fired my boss to pursue my dream in becoming an interior designer. Like anyone who returned to school for the second time, I studied hard and played hard too. Got married and graduated with flying colors. Enjoyed 3 years of honeymoon before our first-born came along.

I promoted myself as a SAHM (Stay-At-Home-Mom) when my first-born turned one.

Being able to create pretty stuff and receiving appreciation from others is truly satisfying.

I love photography, blogging and all things that are pretty – and maybe that’s why I’m so hooked to scrapbooking as it brings my passion to another level.

Things aren’t ever the same since I attended my very first scrapbooking class back in October 2006. My love affair for the last 4 years (and counting) has brought me so much fun and enjoyment.

I can’t keep my hands off patterned papers and flowers – a must-get-it-all whenever I see them… and I love to hand make them too. Whenever I in a scrapbooking store/website or buried among my scrapping materials, you’ll know I’m in my fantasy world.

WANG HUI MING

Hi, I’m Hui Ming, more commonly known as Ming. I am under house arrest for life by two little jailers, otherwise known as my daughters. When I am let out of the house, I am a Science teacher. When I am home, with free time on my hands, I scrap! I took up the hobby in June 2008 with a baby girl kit given by a friend, and have never looked back since. My inspiration comes from (you guessed it) my 2 little girls.

Scrapping techniques
I love the shabby chic look and to get there, I do lots of cutting and distressing. I also love experimenting with mediums (mists, paints, etc). I’m currently into altered art, with fabric and metals predominant amongst the stuff I alter.

Product loves
Patterned paper and distress inks… leave me on a desert island with those and my trusty Cutterbees and I will be most happy.
Brands? Anything vintage-y.
